PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Eliminating autofluorescence reveals even weak signals
Autofluorescence, a cause of background noise for microscopy, is derived from lipofuscin, elastin fibers, vitamin A, and other naturally occurring molecules, and can often make fluorescence imaging of tissues difficult.
The TiYO™ quenches this autofluorescence by the use of photo-bleaching LEDs to increase the signal-to-noise ratio.
- Just insert the sample and start. – No complicated procedures or special reagents required
- High power LEDs and optimized exposure complete quenching in 30 minutes to a few hours
Only autofluorescence is quenched!
Unlike conventional quenching reagents, only autofluorescence signal is affected.
There is no reduction in the fluorescence from stains.
Evaporative cooling system
Powerful light irradiation combined with effective cooling prevents samples from overheating during photobleaching procedure.
