Features

The Micro Pick and Place System makes it possible to transfer micro targets such as single cells one by one from one place to another place observing the targets with a microscope. The system is based on the PicoPipet that has a small electroosmotic pump in its pipette part. It allows users to operate the system intuitively and anyone can easily control suction/hold/discharge of ultra small volumes (picoloter range).

Example) Picking up a single cell from a dish and discharging the single cell into a PCR tube.

1)	MPP-300 Micro Pick and Place Standard System Glass micropipette: straight shape
	Blue beads (70-80 um) are picked up one by one and discharged at intended positions one by one observing the beads with the Compass video microscope.


2)	MPP-300Z Micro Pick and Place Compass Z System 1-PCR8T-1 PCR 8-tube strip holder Glass micropipette: S shape
	Gel beads (about 10 um) are picked up one by one from a microscope slide and discharged into a PCR tube observing the beads with the Compass Z, Zrobo-mounted video microscope.


3)	MPP-200Z Micro Pick and Place Z Robo System 1-PCR8-4 PCR 8-cap strip holder Glass micropipette: straight shape
	Blue beads (about 50 um) are picked up one by one from a microscope slide and discharged into a PCR cap observing the beads with an inverted microscope.


4)	MPP-200Z Micro Pick and Place Z Robo System Glass micropipette: S shape
	Gel beads (about 10 um) are picked up one by one from a well of a 96-well plate and discharged into another well observing the beads with an inverted microscope.
